EDUCATION
1984-1985 Rome – Student at Scuola Popolare di Musica Testaccio.
1991-1992 Paris – Studied for several months, with Denis Barbier, as flute player in the orchestra under Gil Evans and flute soloist of Big Band Lumière.
1993-1995 Cagliari – She enrolled, as an extern, at the P.L. Da Palestrina Conservatory, where she obtained the diploma in music theory and solfeggio and studied flute technique under Maestro Salvatore Saddi.
2007 Siena – She takes part to seminars of jazz music, organized by Siena Jazz – Academy Foundation under Franco Caroni
2003-2009 Milan – Student at Academia Civic Jazz of Milan, under Maestro Enrico Intra: qualification to first three years and second two years of advanced courses for musical instrument (transverse flute), theory, “Italiani Armonia” theatres, Arrangement and History of Jazz with final vote 110/110
WORK EXPERIENCES
1993-1997 Sardinia – became part of a band that between ’93 and ’97 will be among the most followed in Sardinia and that offers original songs of acid jazz – funky: Waldorf Astoria Team – W.A.Team.
Two important reviews: Testaccio Village and Arezzo Wave. Concerts in Firenze, Verona, Milano and in particular two at Palladium in Rome.
Works in Amsterdam and Paris, as flute player, with american singer Rosa King.
1996 Contributes, as flute player, to the album Anime Salve of Fabrizio De André – price Targa Tenco from music criticism year ’97. Takes part to Anime Salve Tour, in Cagliari.
1999-2001 Works in project Le Cose Inutili with Vittorio Centro and Il Porto Dei Santi
2001 Contributes, as flute player, to the album Scaramante of Cristiano De André
2002 She founded and co-lead with the trombonist Francesca Petrolo, the female jazz quartet When The Buddha Smiles (which included Alessandra Cecala and Margherita Santomassimo); they will debut during Milan Film Festival, offering a repertoire from Ellington to contemporary authors as Paolino Dalla Porta, Marcello Rosa and Bebo Ferra, also including original songs.
Contributes, as flute player to the album Italian Jazz Graffiti 2002 performing with the orchestra Civic Jazz Band, directed by Maestro Enrico Intra.
2007 Join to the review Events In Jazz organized by municipalities Busto Arsizio and Castellanza, performing with the band When The Buddha Smiles as co-leader with the trombonist Francesca Petrolo, acted on the bill near Tom Harrel, Jim Hall, Eliane Elias, Gianluca Petrella.
2007 Join to the review WOMA JAZZ FESTIVAL, the first European All-Female Jazz Festival, collaborating with the project TREXTRE SUITES 5et, near to Francesca Petrolo, Helga Plankensteiner, Silvia Bolognesi, and Anne Paceo.
2008 Join to the concert Grazie Ennio – La Musica di Ennio Morricone, collaborating with Civic Jazz Band of Milan, directed by Maestro E. Intra involving Franco Cerri.
2009 Join to evening event L’Acqua Non Ha Nemici under Charlie Owens within the review around natural elements organized by Spazio Teatro NO’HMA of Teresa Pomodoro.
2009 Join to the project Racconti di Natale, under Elda Olivieri, involving the guitarist Franco Cerri, Michele Di Toro (piano), Mattia Magatelli (doublebass), Riccardo Tosi (drums).
2010 Join to the Festival Empoli Jazz and Lucca Jazz Donna included in the project TREXTRE SUITES 5et, near to Francesca Petrolo, Helga Plankensteiner, Silvia Bolognesi and Julie Saury.

2014 She opens The Mortara Jazz Festival

2016 She was contacted from director of the orchestra of Sardinia, Giovanni Agostino Frassetto and joined in the show TIME IN JAZZ, in the project NORMA, arranged and conducted by Maestro Paolo Silvestri in collaboration with Orchestra Mediterranea, Orchestra Jazz of Sardinia, and Paolo Fresu (trumpet soloist)
2018 Umbria Jazz – She was noticed by two of groups part of renowned festival; The Mystics and Rockyn Dopsie…who invites her to play with them the last night. Respectively in IV November square and Carducci gardens
Due to Covid-19 emergency, she continues today artistic career collaborating online with Italian and foreigner artists.
